Today we are done with our game.
Using cardboard, cardboard scissors, duct tape and hot glue I created a cardboard pinball game. It was a really fun school assignment. I enjoyed it a lot.
During this process, I learned how to make a simple flap to hit the ball. I also learned the best way to do it. This was a tough challenge.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because we designed our project before we started building our pinball game. This was the most boring part.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out the best way to hit the ball. I was able to do it by trying different ways to hit the ball. Until one worked
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way the ball gets hit and use rubber bands to make it better. The reason why I would change it is because I made one at home this way and it is a lot better. It is also a lot more fun.
