We made a 3d Model to help model what we are going to build.
Day 1: Maddie & I started building the base of the bridge.
Day 2: We built the towers on the bridge
Day 3: we finished the bridge
My Movie 13.movUsing Keva Blocks, I created a Bridge because I thought it looked really cool when I was going through the booklet.
During this process, I learned how to balance blocks on top of eachother.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I overcame the challenge of figuring out how to build the bridge with a bad 2d picture.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying not to bump the table. I was able to do it by watching where I was walking.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design . The reason why I would change it is because this project took along time, and kept getting knocked over.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in architecture because architects use 3d models to plan what they're making.
