My plan is to design my project on Tinker CAD, then print out my creation.

My creation's unique properties will be a built in straw.

Day 1- I worked on my list of Ten Ideas

Day 2- started creating my cup

Day 3- I learned how to Group Shapes

Day 4- I finished creating the straw

Day 5- I started printing my design

Day 6- I created my movie for the project.

Using Tinker CAD, I created a Cup because you sometimes might need a cup.

During this process, I learned how to group shapes together on TinkerCad.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I made decisions about my learning and used the 3d printer to build my idea.

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to round the edges. I was able to do it by clicking on the shape and adding more sides.

Given a chance to do this again, I would make the cup way bigger. The reason why I would change it is because its very tiny now.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers like, Model Designer, Architecture, Design and Development engineer.
