The first step is to emphasize. That means to think about the problem, why it needs to be solved, and who it will affect.
The second step is to define. That means to tell yourself exactly how the problem should be solved.
The third step is to ideate. That means to think of an idea that might work.
The fourth step is to prototype. That means to make early solutions.
The fifth step is to test. That means to test your idea and see if it works.
