Using Scratch, I created a sprite hero because my teacher had assigned me to this website to learn it's programming.
During this process, I learned how to use the programming on the scratch website.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because even when a problem came up I found a way to overcome it and learn something new.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to get anything done when I couldn't save my work and every time I came off the website everything was deleted. I was able to do it by using the snipping tool to take pictures of my progress so I wouldn't lose it and have to completely start over.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my design of the character. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to remake it with a more professional style.
