Using Minecraft, I created a small wooden house because I wanted to start off easy and after i got used to it I would try to make the house more advanced.
During this process, I learned how to put down door but the draw back is that you must stand still so it can finish and not mess up while building.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator and empowered learner because I had to not give up and I kept trying into I gave up and I could make my house .
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding what section of code has the minecraft door. I was able to do it by looking through every single piece of coding and finding what works kinda like a door.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the materials the walls are made of and I would change the house to have a few windows . The reason why I would change it is because a small house without windows and is made out of wood, would not look well if you place it in a small town or even a village.
This project connect to carriers in construction worker.
This is how large the piece of coding needed to be for me to be able to make the small minecraft wooden house.
In the picture above it shows the house, as you can see this little wood box doesn't look that well if you don't have any windows on it and it looks pretty weird with a flat roof as shown with the lack of a pyramid shaped roof.
