Using the Makey Makey, We created a Sorry board game because we wanted to make a board game and we didn't want to start off with something really hard, like monopoly.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Knowledge Constructor and Innovative Designer because the two are both about making something creative.
A challenge we overcame on this project was making the sorry pieces move properly. We were able to do it by changing the coding and changing the size of the board.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what game we would make. The reason why I would change it is because with knowledge we've learned in this project we could add on and make it more advanced. I would change it by switching the code and putting on more advanced movement buttons because the coding we used in this project was pretty simple but time consuming so I would make the coding a bit shorter.
This project connect to carriers in knowledge constructor and innovative designer. This is important because with the two carriers I can build what comes to mind freely and I can create cool designs that other people can also use.
