I used my own sprites.
Using Cs first and Scratch, I created 8 projects, because I thought it would be fun. During this process, I learned guidance is very useful.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational thinker because I made 8 coded games. A challenge I overcame on this project was it was difficult trying to figure out the coding. I was able to do it by watching the videos several times.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change amount of sprites. The reason why I would change it is because if i had different sprites it would be more unique. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering and Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in video game design.
