Using my Ipad and the apps for each robot, I created a code for them to do each requirement, a square, rectangle, letters, lights, and throweing the tire.

During this process, I learned how each robot works and what they're about.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational thinker because I can build a game or tell a story using a simple visual programming interface.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to get the direction/angle just right. I was able to do it by using my math resources and searching through the app, figuring out what to use .

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the challenge and make it harder . The reason why I would change it is because I followed basic instructions and didn't go off on my own to discover harder ways and longer ways to do this project.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the  CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in the job duties of a robot programmer .
