Using my Ipad and the apps for each robot, I created a code for them to do each requirement, a square, rectangle, letters, lights, and throweing the tire.
During this process, I learned how each robot works and what they're about.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational thinker because I can build a game or tell a story using a simple visual programming interface.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to get the direction/angle just right. I was able to do it by using my math resources and searching through the app, figuring out what to use .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the challenge and make it harder . The reason why I would change it is because I followed basic instructions and didn't go off on my own to discover harder ways and longer ways to do this project.
