Using  cardboard, hot glue, and etc., I created a house because I wanted to model a house that looked what I had pictured.

During this process, I learned how to put 3 ideas together to make a house.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because we all communicated on what we thought should be done with our project and because we used tools responsibly. Our project also ties to Innovator designer because I used my chromebook and ipad to lay out the steps of building our project and brainstorming the project by drawing it and looking online for ideas.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to put our pictures into our project and probably the slide/stairs. I was able to do it by strategizing with my group partners.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the structure of the walls and floor. The reason why I would change it is because we could've done better to make the walls and make the floor level.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Global Collaborator CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in relators that design/set up furniture in a home and working in a group to put different ideas together.
