7p3 Micro bit

Using micro bits, computers and coding website, I created a rock, paper, scissor game because if you have no one to play rock paper scissors with you can play by yourself now.

During this process, I learned how to code and make cool creation such as a love meter, rock paper scissors and how to write my name and make images appear.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being an innovative designer because they both empower idea on what to make and create.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the rock to appear. I was able to do it by going in and changing the numbers around.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my final project. The reason why I would change it is because I thing if i was given more time i would be able to create something cooler.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in video game developer because they have to code to make it so there characters will fight and move etc.
