Bold scholarship names have updated (2024-25) applications available.
The more effort you put in, the more opportunities you'll have to earn a scholarship.
Complete all 6 steps, and earn a chance at a $40,000 scholarship.
Abilene Teachers FCU account deadline Applicants are required to have an account in their own name and that account needs to be established on or before November 13, 2023. Scholarship applications will be available online January 2, 2024.
Community Foundation of Abilene Scholarships (11/1/2024 - 3/1/2024)
Charles Butt Aspiring Teachers Scholarship (12/12+ depending on school, it may not be due until February)
Big Country Manufacturing Alliance (BCMA) Scholarship (12/31)
Education is important to the donors of the Community Foundation of Abilene. The Foundation is home to more than 100 scholarship funds established by individuals, organizations and companies to help students from our community and the surrounding area pursue their dreams of a college education.

Complete your application and “Submit Application”.
You will then be directed to the Confirmation Page. Read through the list of Scholarships recommended for you.
Click “Continue” to apply to individual scholarships.
You will now see a list of scholarships and their status. Opportunities with the “Application Draft” status require you to answer supplemental questions. “Submit Application” to apply to that scholarship.
Be aware that if you are asked for a new reference on a scholarship you must provide a reference that has not already been used.
