All content teachers will utilize a virtual educational platform (Odysseyware and/or Khan Academy) for content delivery. Both platforms track login, time spent, and provide academic progress and monitoring information to teachers.
Content area teachers will provide feedback to students through the platforms and email. Student performance data collected will be used by staff to track student performance as follows:
Content area teachers will run weekly reports and save these to a shared location. These will identify students who are not making adequate weekly progress (AWP).
Students not making AWP will be shared with both content area interventionists and the students’ advisory teachers.
Identified students will be contacted individually by the intervention teachers assigned to the course(s) as needed. Interventionists will address the needs/concerns of students and facilitate communication between content area teachers and students/families when necessary.
Advisory teachers will be notified and follow-up with students on a weekly basis to ensure that students’ needs/concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
