My name is Mrs. Bosley and I'm excited to be your child's teacher this year!

I graduated from Grove City College Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education; Emphasis in Math/Science.  My Master’s Degree is in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University.   I received Principal Certification from Gannon University.

In the Hempfield Area School District, I have taught third and fourth Grade.   Before coming to Hempfield, I taught seventh and eighth grade science and third grade in the Penn Trafford School District.  This is my 25th year of teaching.

My husband is a fifth grade teacher at West Hempfield Elementary School.  I have two children, Grayson- 11 years old and Giovanna- 8 years old.

I have been serving on the district's English and Language Arts Committee for 15 years, and I am so excited to be using the ARC Program after piloting last year.  Two goals of this program are to engage students in reading and writing and develop a love for these skills.  I will be working with each student 1:1 to determine his/her reading level and establish reading goals.  Instruction will be designed to target these goals.  The students will be participating in the 100 Book Challenge while achieving the goal of 30 minutes of sustained reading at school and 30 minutes of sustained reading at home.

I look forward to a great year together!  Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!
