Hi Fourth Grade Families! I have been serving on the district's English and Language Arts Committee for 13 years. Our curriculum is aligned to Common Core and PA State Standards using the ARC Program. Two goals of this program are to engage students in reading and writing and develop a love for these skills. I will be working with each student 1:1 to determine his/her reading level and establish reading goals. Instruction will be designed to target these goals. The students will be participating in the 100 Book Challenge while achieving the goal of 30 minutes of sustained reading at school and 30 minutes of sustained reading at home.
