Welcome to Band!  I am so excited for you to join band!  On this page, you will be learning about instruments in the woodwind, brass, and percussion families.  Please watch the videos of the instruments you are interested in to find the one that most interests you.  Once you know what instrument you want to play, go to the "Get a Band Instrument" tab to find out how to get an instrument.  Finally, please fill out the Registration Form right beneath this paragraph once you have decided to join band.  This will allow me to figure out who is going to do band this year so I can start forming lesson groups.  If you have any questions about the instruments, please email me at carfre@hasdhawks.org and I will get back to you as soon as I can.  It's going to be a great year in band!

*Please note that all beginner students need the appropriate lesson book. When signing up through Menchey music, it will ask you about also purchasing a book. This is an additional purchase that needs to be made. If you are buying the book separately, you will need the Essential Elements for Band Book 1 for your instrument. Please also reach out to Mrs. Freeman with any questions.

Please click the button below to register so I know who will be joining the band next school year!
