Harvest Christian Academy has established a bold goal to become the premier student performing arts center in the Elgin area. This includes long-term plans for a modern Performing Arts Center that will house a versatile stage for multiple productions, a state-of-the-art infrastructure to deliver great performances, and a dedicated classroom to train and equip our aspiring young actors and actresses to glorify God and perform with excellence.

Our vision is to bring the gift of theater, not only to our own students at Harvest Christian Academy, but also to students and families from our church and surrounding community.

• Student involvement in theater has been shown to improve school attendance, reading comprehension, and both verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

• Performing Arts can help students recognize their potential for success and increase confidence.

• We seek to make high-quality productions affordable and accessible to many residents in our community who currently cannot appreciate the fine arts.
