Expectations at the High School
Expectations at the High School
At HMS, teachers and staff use the same common language and expectations everywhere in the building. That means whether you’re in class, the hallways, the cafeteria, or at activities, you’ll hear the same reminders and see the same expectations. This makes it easier to know what’s expected, keeps things fair, and helps everyone feel safe and supported so we can focus on learning and having a great school experience.
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based three-tiered framework to improve and integrate all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS creates schools where all students succeed.
