SAE stands for Supervised Agricultural Experience. Through this students are able to get a work and leadership experience through agriculture. They are something that is required by all FFA members. SAEs are instructor supervised and are student led. SAEs have a very wide variety just as long as it comes back to agriculture, students are also able to turn their SAEs into future careers.
Ownership/Entrepreneurship: Student owns or operates a individual business that can and will provide goods and or services for the communities surrounding them
Placement/Internship: Student is employed by a business that is related to agriculture, food, or natural resources
Research; Experimental, Analysis, or Intervention: Student plans and conducts a agricultural experiment using the scientific method
School Based Enterprise: Student leads a business enterprise operated on school campus and utilizing their facilities
Service Learning: Student or group of students plan and organize a project designed to help the school or community
