Grading

Grading & Google Classroom

Students are graded approximately once each week on their work habits.

Occasionally I will want to cover a topic like SCRATCH or Google Earth in which I want all students to participate. I ask that students take a break from their personal projects to work more closely with my curriculum and each other on a common topic.

I will use Google Classroom to communicate and share common resources with all students.

Responsibility

• I meet deadlines appropriately.

• Work is turned in on time and complete.

• I come to class ready to learn (materials, on time, organized).

• I manage and use my time and materials productively.

Engagement

• I focus on the task at hand.

• I listen actively and contribute appropriately.

• I seek and respond to feedback positively from peers & teachers.

• I use my resources appropriately (ex. I ask for help when needed, communicate needs).

• I challenge myself.

Effort

• I demonstrate a positive attitude and growth mindset toward learning.

• I show commitment to academic growth.

• I welcome new learning and challenges.

• I am aware and intent on having a positive impact on others.
