How does my student change their schedule?
Students who require a necessary schedule change (see list below) will have the opportunity to meet with counselors in person during summer check-in. Email requests for schedule changes will not be accepted or answered. All schedule changes must be made in person during this time - this is the only method available.
Please note:
In order to efficiently meet with students and finalize schedules before the first day of school, counselors will not respond to schedule change requests sent by email. However, they will be available for three days during summer check-in to meet with students directly.
After summer check-in, counselors will resume responding to emails, but no schedule changes will be handled via email, as all changes must be made in person during the designated window.
Reasons for a Schedule Change
Two classes are listed during the same period
A required course is missing (such as no English or math)
Schedule that needs to be updated after the completion of summer school or community college coursework
An incorrect level, such as a junior in freshman English
A previously taken class that is scheduled again
Schedule Changes that Will Not Be Honored
Teacher changes
Elective Changes
Changes to be in the same classes as others
