To the Hart High School Class of 2026,

Graduation 2026 is rapidly approaching with commencement scheduled for Tuesday, May 26th, at 7:00 p.m. at College of the Canyons. We are looking forward to seeing our graduates in their caps, gowns, and regalia as they celebrate the completion of their high school requirements. Students may adorn their caps tastefully. That means no profanity or anything that would violate the school dress code.

I would like to take a minute to share my congratulations to the Class of 2026.  You have been an incredible class and I could not be more proud to be your principal.  Take with you what you have learned inside and outside of the classroom as you are more prepared for your future than ever before.  Hart High School is a special place for many people, but it is incredibly special for you and what you have accomplished in these last four years.  Congratulations Class of 2026.

As your senior year winds down, we have a few activities, celebrations and honors awaiting you and your family.  For ‘Senior Week’, we will have much to celebrate, but first, Senior Finals will be conducted on Monday and Tuesday, May 18th and 19th.  That first day of Senior Week will have Senior Awards Night on Monday, May 18th.  All students who will receive awards that evening will receive a special invitation shared by our counseling office. This evening will recognize our seniors who are receiving scholarships and recognition for a variety of achievements. We look forward to sharing your accomplishments with your family and classmates.  Next, we will have Senior Sunset on Tuesday night, May 19th, on Fiscus Field, all seniors are invited.  Following that, on Wednesday, May 20th, which is a minimum day for all other students, seniors are invited to a Senior Breakfast and Yearbook Signing, all seniors are encouraged to participate, but do not have to attend classes that day.  Later that evening, we will offer Grad Night at Universal Studios on Wednesday, May 20th.  Finally, we have our Senior Rally on Friday, May 22nd followed by our mandatory Senior Meeting, in the gym at Hart, where we will go over all of the logistics for your Commencement Ceremony at College of the Canyons on May 26th.  We will have Graduation Rehearsal at 7:00 a.m. the morning of May 26th at College of the Canyons and the ceremony, as mentioned earlier, later that evening at 7:00 p.m.

It has been a pleasure for me to be a part of your senior year, and I look forward to your many successes following high school. Best wishes for a successful final few weeks of high school and throughout your lifetime.
