Mrs. Beth Atkins has been a part of the LeGrande family since 2008. She taught 1st and 3rd grades before becoming the Librarian.
Mrs. Atkins has always been a lover of all things bookish and never leaves home without a book.

Mrs. Atkins enjoys spending time fishing and watching westerns with her husband, Eric. They have been married for 19 years.
She also enjoys shopping with her son Jasper and going out to eat at Texas Roadhouse! Its hard to beat a big juicy steak and salad!
She is a vintage junkie! Her record collection includes well over 120 albums from Merle Haggard to CCR.
She has TWO miniature schnauzers named 'Duke' in honor of 'The Duke, John Wayne' and Daisy! They are a very important part of the family and are loved tremendously.
She LOVES getting to travel to new places.
She is the LeGrande 4H Club Volunteer and just earned her Master Accreditation for SET this past year. This qualifies her to hold and host STEM based projects through 4H.
She is also a KET All Star Educator!
She can't live without Coca-Cola, chapstick and Jesus!

Author Leigh Anne Florence and Woody visited LeGrande in the spring of 2023 for Read Across America Week!
Mrs. Carrie Murray, Munfordville School Librarian and Mrs. Angie Waddle, Memorial School Librarian, were on site to help with our Dog Gone We Love Reading Night. They were a huge help and enjoyed meeting our special guests as well.
