Hello! My name is Nicolette Taglienti and I will be your child's homeroom and ELA teacher this year! I want to introduce myself and tell you a little about me.

I am 29 years old and I grew up in Washington Township, NJ, where I also currently reside. I attended Rowan University for college and dual majored in both Elementary Education and American Studies. I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelors degree in both content areas. This school year will be my 7th year teaching, and my 3rd year at PVS! Before coming to PVS I taught 2nd grade and 1st grade. 

When I am not in the classroom, I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I like to spend time at home reading or watching TV with my cat, Bindy. I love traveling to new places in the summer, or spending time in Stone Harbor at the beach!

I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. Growing up, school was my happy place and I have many perfect attendance awards to prove it! I strive to make my classroom a place where all students feel welcome, safe, and respected. I love getting to know my students and letting them get to know me. Your child's education is my top priority, as I believe learning is a life-long journey. I am looking forward to a year full of learning, new experiences, and lots of laughs along the way!
