Dear Harrison Township Families,
Hello! My name is Cindy Boyer, and I am excited to begin my third year as a Math Interventionist at Harrison Township Elementary School. This year also marks my 24th year as a teacher at Harrison Township!
For my first 21 years, I had the privilege of teaching second grade. I loved every minute of being a classroom teacher and building relationships with my students and their families. Although my role has changed, my passion for working with children and helping them feel confident and successful in math remains the same.
As a Math Interventionist, I have the opportunity to work with students in kindergarten through third grade in small groups. My goal is to provide students with additional support in developing their foundational math skills, strengthening their number sense, building fact fluency, and becoming more confident mathematicians.
I want every child to know that it is okay to make mistakes, ask questions, and take their time when learning something new. My hope is that students leave our time together feeling successful, supported, and proud of their progress.
I look forward to getting to know your children and working together with you and their classroom teachers to help them have a successful year in math!
Warmly,
Cindy Boyer
