Here are a few fun facts about me!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 My Family: I have three children—Chase, who is 18, and twins Gavin and Linzey, who are 16. My husband’s name is Shawn, although your children will probably know him as Mr. Shawn! 

🐶 Our Dog: We have a yellow Lab named Marlo. He is eight years old, and we rescued him when he was six years old. He has definitely become an important part of our family!

🚤 Family Time: We love spending time on our boat with our family and friends. We also love traveling to our family mountain house in Dushore, Pennsylvania, where we have 86 acres. There is always something fun to do and explore!

⚾🏒🥎🏊‍♀️ Sports: I LOVE cheering my kids on! Our family spends lots of time at baseball, hockey, softball, and swimming events. I started swimming when I was eight years old and continued swimming in college, so swimming has always been a big part of my life.

👩‍🏫 Teaching Runs in My Family: Mrs. Sutton is my older sister! My mom was also a teacher for more than 30 years, and my oldest sister is a first-grade teacher. I guess you could say teaching runs in our family!

📚 My Favorite Teacher: My favorite teacher was Mrs. Randazzo, who was my second-grade teacher. She made a positive impact on me and is one reason I know how important it is for teachers to make students feel special, supported, and excited to learn.
