The IB Dance curriculum aims for a holistic approach to dance, and embraces a variety of traditions and dance cultures. Performance, creative and analytic skills are mutually developed and valued whether the students are writing papers, comparing various cultural dance forms, or creating/ performing dances. IB Dance Year 1 is the first year of a 2-year course. Participation in both winter and spring dance concerts are mandatory, in addition to workshops throughout the year.
