Kristen Greto will be teaching a workshop on Friday, October 17th. Kristen is from White Plains, NY, and began her training at City Center Dance. She has been dancing for 25+ years. Some of her credits include: the NBC Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Rachael Ray Show, Netflix, features in DanceSpirit Magazine, as well as performances at venues throughout NYC, including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theatre, and Lincoln Center. Kristen began her professional career dancing for 3 seasons with the NBA G-League Westchester Knicks, and after that, 6 years with the NBA Brooklynettes, both of which she served as a team captain for part of her tenure. During her time with the Nets, Kristen performed internationally in China and Mexico as well as with many celebrity artists such as Lil Kim and Busta Rhymes. Kristen just recently concluded her final chapter and 5th season coaching the Division 1 Long Island University Dance Team, where she led the program to their first historic National Championship win in the Open Spirit Game Day category in 2023, followed by two more consecutive wins in 2024 and 2025, making that a 3-peat National title win for the program. Kristen is currently entering her third season as the Head Coach of the NBA G-League Long Island Nets Dance Team, affiliated with the Brooklyn Nets; a full circle role where she not only leads the team, but also choreographs. You can find Kristen teaching pop-up master classes at many studios in the tri-state area and setting choreography for dance teams under her freelance brand, Coached By KG.
