Students will be joining a classroom with their school user name and password. More instructions to follow.

Grading:

A 90%-100%
B 80%-89%
C 70%-79%
D 60%-69%
E 59% or below
D+ or lower scores on assessments should be retaken by student.
- Student should first devise a plan (with teachers help if needed).
- Then follow through with the plan to understand concept.
- Then retake assessment.

5th Grade: * No calculators

6th Grade: * calculators used

Practicing at home helps establish discipline and routine.

Most importantly, it provides an opportunity to apply what was learned on ones own.

At home practice should take 10-15 minutes and students are allowed to STOP after 30 minutes with quality effort.

There will be Check Your Understanding almost daily that should take 30 minutes or less at home.

It should be completed to the best of one's ability. For example, in math, showing your work/thinking/way to solve is a must!

Students and students should be checking grades at a minimum weekly.

Assignments two weeks late or more will not be accepted for credit.
