Child Care Substitutes of Oregon (funded by the Early Learning Division) enables child care programs to have access to a pool of substitutes that have completed all training required by CCSO, received background checks, and have access to a schedule of ongoing professional development provided by our team. This grant allows eligible providers to access 50 hours of subsidized substitute time per year within the Child Care Substitutes of Oregon program. Eligible providers are able to request substitutes who best align with their program needs.
Child Care Substitutes of Oregon is recruiting providers to join a Provider Advisory Committee to provide insight and feedback regarding the development of the program as it grows to support Oregon’s child care providers, families and children. The Provider Advisory Committee will be instrumental in guiding the continuous quality improvement efforts put forth by the CCSO team. Child Care Substitutes of Oregon’s goal is to grow over time, increasing the number of providers and substitutes that it serves each year, and improving the experience for providers, substitutes, and families throughout the state.
