On September 23rd, qualifying scholars were registered to vote.
On February 6th, the City of Laredo recognized our campus by being named "State School of Character" by our City Mayor and City Council Members.
On February 10th, 406 District Judge Oscar Hale and his team brought the "Courts in School" program to our campus. Seniors had an opportunity to witness real life court proceedings overseen by Judge Hale in our gym.
On October 17th, the staff celebrated our great leader, Mr. Chetin.

The cold didn't stop anyone. Our scholars, staff, and families participated in our our annual fall festival where all had good food, music, games, and family fun.
During the month of October scholars donated candies for Treats for Troops! The effort was to thank soldiers for their hard work and dedication. Donations were dropped off at the National Guard.
On December 3, HSI, HSA, and HSE came together to provide parents to the opportunity to strengthen their child's education. Parents had an opportunity to attend various topics to help scholars succeed.
In December, our National Honor Society donated toys to our Webb County Sheriff's Office.
On January 24, the campus celebrated national compliment day. During advisory, scholars had the opportunity to write compliments to staff members. Administration delivered compliments to staff with a side of refreshments.

During the last few weeks of school, scholars donated boxes to support the South Texas Food Bank.
During the month of October we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness. We partnered with Stronger Together where scholars were able to write letters of encouragement to a breast caner survivor or someone who is currently battling the disease.
