Welcome to the School Counseling Center

School counselors are dedicated to supporting every student's academic, personal, social, and career success. As specially trained professionals, they provide guidance, encouragement, and resources to help students navigate challenges, set goals, and make informed decisions about their future.

Whether students need help with academics, college and career planning, personal concerns, or simply someone to listen, I am here to help. Every conversation is treated with care, respect, and a commitment to student well-being.

For students who may benefit from more intensive or ongoing support, referrals to licensed mental health counselors are available. These professionals provide scheduled counseling services, and referrals can be made through the school counseling office.

Our counseling program also promotes a safe, supportive school environment by helping students:

• Recognize and express their emotions in healthy ways.

• Build resilience and develop positive coping skills.

• Identify trusted adults they can turn to during difficult times.

Our comprehensive school counseling program is developmental, preventive, and designed to meet the needs of every student. I am committed to providing equitable access to services, empowering students to reach their highest potential, succeed in school, and become confident, responsible members of their communities.

I encourage students and families to visit the HHS School Counselor webpage regularly for important information, including timelines, scholarships, college and career resources, special programs, and upcoming events. I will also communicate through Thrill Share and email to keep students and families informed.
