Harlem Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (HMS PTO) was created to promote the education and welfare of students at Harlem Middle School by fostering relationships between home, school, and community through conferences, projects, fundraising, and community programs.
The mission of the Harlem Middle School PTO shall be: 1) To enhance the education environment at Harlem Middle School through volunteer and financial resources, 2) To promote communication between the school administration, staff, parents, and students, and 3) To foster pride in Harlem Middle School throughout the community.
The Harlem Middle School Parent Teacher Organization is nonprofit organization that exists for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
