Here you will find important information regarding our many athletic teams. Please check back often as information will be added throughout the year during the different athletic seasons.

Harlem Middle School strives for excellence in all areas of student development, including athletics. We believe that athletics are a crucial aspect of learning discipline and commitment, and are proud of the types of citizens our athletic programs create.

Spring Sports

*Football for incoming 6th graders - Please see team page below for Carlson Huskies informational flyer. 

*Football for incoming 7th, 8th, & 9th Grade  - Please see team page below for upcoming camp opportunities. 

*Cheerleading Tryouts for Fall  2024 - Informational Meeting on May 14th 6:00-7:00pm for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.  Tryout clinics will be May 28th, 29th, and 30th from 4:00-7:00pm.  Tryout day will be May 31st by assigned time. (4:30-7:30).  Parent/Athlete meeting on June 3rd 5:30-7:30. 

*Cheerleading Tryouts (High School) for Fall 2024 - Incoming 9th graders, please see cheer page below to scan QR code for the google form. 

*Dance Tryouts for Fall 2024 - Tryouts for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be May 16th & 17th in the Main Gym at HMS from 4:00-6:00pm. Both days are mandatory  for tryouts and all forms must be turned in no later that May 8th. 

*Dance Tryouts (High School ) for Fall 2024 - Incoming 9th graders, please see dance page below for more information. 

*Boys Basketball Open Gyms - Open gyms for April and May are available on the team page below or you can pick up a calendar in the HMS Main Office.

To Participate in a Harlem Middle School Sport

  1.  A current sports physical must be turned into the         middle school. They're good for 1 year from the date of physical. 

  2.  Must be signed up on Snap (8to18)
