In an era where misinformation spreads faster than science, vaccine hesitancy, in the context following the COVID-19 pandemic, threatens global health efforts. Representing international organizations, governments, and tech platforms, delegates debate and shape policies to combat distrust and rebuild public confidence in life-saving vaccines.

Hi everyone! My name is Nadia Aref, and I am also a junior at Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton. I am so excited to co-chair the WHO committee at PanMUN III! I have been doing Model UN for 2 years, in which I have learned so much about international relations and global political discourse, and have practiced my public speaking skills! Furthermore, this is my second year co-chairing conferences. Outside of MUN, I love to run track and field, play tennis, watch F1, and read. As gene-editing technologies like CRISPR opens new frontiers in medicine, it also raises urgent social and regulatory questions about the ethics of human enhancement and eugenics. Global frameworks lag behind scientific progress, and delegates grapple with issues and shape policies revolving gene therapy and reproductive technology.

I always love the empowering, real-world discussions that MUN encourages amongst delegates and it’s amazing to see people engage in substantial conversations regarding global politics and partnership; all of which I look forward to happening at our committee! I love eating good food, listening to music, and having silly debates like whether a hot dog is a sandwich. Overall, I look forward to seeing you guys debate and we hope you enjoy this committee!
I’m Isabel Bitonio, and I am so excited to be one of your co-chairs for this year’s SOCHUM committee. I am a junior at Notre Dame San Jose, and I have been doing MUN since my freshman year. Arjun Khara is a sophomore at The Harker School. He enjoys playing saxophone and tennis on the school team. When he is at home, he likes cooking and passing time with his two dogs. He is thrilled to be part of SOCHUM and excited to see all of the delegates' grow together.
In the shocking aftermath of September 11, 2001, the world’s skies became weapons, and aviation security was exposed as dangerously fragile. As ICAO scrambles to respond, delegates must confront the urgent challenge of protecting global air travel, tightening borders, sharing intelligence, and rewriting the rules of the skies, before terror strikes again.
Diyaan is a senior at BASIS, entering his fourth year in the club and second as co-president! Outside of MUN, you can find Diyaan playing golf, producing some new beats, or reading Tintin comics. Outside of MUN, Aneesh enjoys playing video games and traveling.
As global tensions rise and technology advances, the future of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) hangs in balance. Reform and/or reinforce? Delegates confront challenges of disarmament and equity and shape policies in international nuclear governance.
Hello everyone, my name is Pratheeka Dodda and I am one of your DISEC co-chairs. I am a junior at Notre Dame San Jose, and have been doing MUN for about 3 years now. I love model UN because it has taught me so much about diplomacy and debate, as well as how to think fast on my feet. In my free time, you can catch me following F1, going for a run, shopping, or looking for new restaurants to try. I am so excited to be chairing this committee, and am looking forward to seeing plenty of debate and collaboration among delegates.
Hi everyone, my name is Riya Rakesh and I am one of the DISEC co-chairs. I am currently a junior in Notre Dame High School and this is my third year doing MUN. I really enjoy participating in Model UN because of its spontaneity and the connections you form while debating and discussing. For fun, I enjoy reading, cooking food, binge watching shows, and dancing. As a chair I hope to see a lot of friendly debate and controversy as well as a lot of participation during the conference. Good luck with your preparation and I am so excited to see all of you during the committee!

The Irish War for Independence erupts in January 1919, foreshadowed by years of rising nationalist sentiment and British repression. As members of Dáil Éireann, the IRA, the British government, and international observers, delegates navigate and shape the progression of a volatile crisis.
Welcome to the historical crisis at PANMUN 2025! I’m Rahul (you read my name off of the tag three inches above this) and I’m a senior. I’ve been doing MUN since 8th grade, and I started regularly chairing in junior year. I’ve chaired crisis and GA before, but crisis is obviously better so erm yes have fun with this one. I won’t harp on about position papers, but write them and I might even read them :). This will be a fairly unhinged crisis, so above all else, make sure to go a little crazy. Don’t worry if you aren’t super familiar with procedure and such. It’s crisis, your job is to cause your chairs to have a mental breakdown. I like Sharpe so ask me about Napoleonic Wars books and TV lol.
Hey everyone! My name is Rover, and I am a senior at Galileo High School in San Francisco. I first started doing MUN in the summer after freshman year. Since then, I have attended 9 conferences, and have won best delegate at the most recent two (nerd -Rahul). This summer, I attended a MUN conference in Yerevan, Armenia (and won). I have never chaired before, but I am the president of my Model UN club, so I look forward to this. Outside of MUN, I like playing, refereeing, and coaching soccer. I love traveling, and have visited over 87 countries. I also love aviation and Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere books.
Hello Delegates! My name is Brady and I’m a senior at Saint Francis High School. I’ve done MUN since 7th grade. I’ve been to numerous conferences and enjoy chairing & participating in crisis committees. My school has a pretty small MUN program, and I’m currently working on rebuilding and expanding it. Outside of MUN, I like to debate, follow politics, and run cross country. I’m an amateur history nerd, and I’m hyped for this committee. I’m doing more backroom type stuff, and I’ll do my best to fulfill your outrageous notes. Fun fact: I can quote just about every scene from the show The Office, and I’ve watched HIMYM about 200 times.
In the tense summer of 1914, crumbling European alliances navigate the onset of World War I. As diplomacy teeters and war seems predestined, delegates navigate alliances and scheme with ambition to either prevent, or accelerate, the descent into global conflict.
Sup people, I’m Pratulya Rangavazzala, the other chair for this JCC. I’m a junior at The Harker School, and this is my second year of MUN. With no regard to the topic of this JCC, a few fun facts about me are: 1) I don’t appreciate post-impressionist, brutalist, and most contemporary art. 2) I often find myself traveling down niche Wikipedia rabbit holes at 2 A.M. 3) I will always go above and beyond on a dare, joke, prank, or shenanigan. Good luck deciphering anything useful from that.
Hi there! I’m Nirav Adavikolanu, one of your chairs for this JCC. I’m a junior at The Harker School, and this is my third year of MUN. Here are some things about me you won’t find on our Secretariat page: I’m a bit of a history nerd, I enjoy reading, and the most recent song I listened to was Miles On It by Marshmello and Kane Brown. Do with all that what you will. I look forward to the chaos of a world war!
Hi, I’m Rocky Jia, one of your crisis staff for this year’s JCC. I’m a sophomore, and this is my second year in MUN. I’m into CS and some good ol' U.S. history, and in addition, pretty decent at GeoGuessr. I also love to cook, though whether it turns out great or terrible depends "mostly" on the recipe. Anyways, looking forward to a fun and chaotic committee with y'all!

Hello, I’m Sophia Ou, the committee assistant. I am a senior at the Harker School and this is my fourth year doing MUN. I want to major in economics, but I also enjoy chemistry. My favorite movies are La La Land and Spirited Away. I hate vegetables, and I sometimes enjoy contemporary art.
