If you are a new West Georgia Technical College student, and this is your first time registering for dual enrollment classes, you're on the right page. Read the directions below carefully to set up your registration appointment.
BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE . . .
(a) Have you been accepted to WGTC?
(b) Have you completed your GaFutures application for the 2026-2027 school year (or GSFAPP for accelerated career students?)
(c) Have you signed the Code of Conduct? (If not, it is posted on the classroom in the section labeled "2026/2027 School Year.")
If the answer to ALL of those questions is "YES," continue. If you answered "NO" to any of them, you aren't ready to register yet.
I will be doing registration sessions all day on October 21st and 22nd. You need to plan to meet with me that day.
To schedule a registration appointment:
Go to the AV Lab. We are located on the bottom floor of the CCA building.
Just inside the door, on a table, there is a document called "Registration Appointments for Spring 2027."
Sign up for an open time slot. Appointments are available for October 21st and 22nd. WRITE IT DOWN SOMEWHERE.
IT IS YOUR JOB to speak to your teacher and make sure it's okay to miss 15 minutes of class for your appointment. Do that AHEAD OF TIME. Don't wait until the day of the appointment.
Show up for your appointment. If you can't make it for some reason, email me and let me know.
I won't be calling you out of class that day. You'll have to remember.
If you pull a no-show without telling me, you will not be allowed to register until everyone else is done. Many classes will be full by then.
If you are trying to make an appointment after that, you'll need to email me to schedule something else. After the 22nd, I'll only make appointments before or after school.
