How to prepare for your setup session:
Prior to your setup session go through the Pre-Setup Guide (above) of tasks and steps to complete, prior to booking a setup session with our Implementation team. This will save you time and simplify your Hāpara rollout.
At the beginning of the Pre-Setup Guide, you will find a link to book a setup session. This setup session, will be via a video call with our Implementation team who will help you configure technical details, Hāpara features and load class and student data.
Super admins and tech admins will manage the dashboard from https://td-admin.appspot.com/yourdomain
To add other staff members to the Hāpara Admin Console, go to your GAFE admin console and add them to the td.administrators Google group.
Non-teacher staff access (i.e., principals, resource teachers) is given by adding them to the td.users Google group.
Teachers view their classes by going to teacherdashboard.com and signing in with their Google user ID and password. (Information about Hāpara will be shared with your teachers by either the primary contact of professional learning contact in your school.)
Students are not required to log in to Hāpara in order for Highlights to monitor their online activity, as long as they are logged in to their school-assigned Google account and using Chrome.
Students should login to their Google accounts as usual, open a new browser tab and go to mystudentdashboard.com to log in to Hāpara Workspace. The first time they do so, Google may need them to approve sharing who they are with Workspace. After that point, mystudentdashboard.com is their one-stop launchpad to access all the Workspace boards they have been assigned.
