Welcome to Bridge & Structural Engineering Lab
This laboratory conducts research focused on the analysis and design of steel structures and long-span cable bridges. The main research areas include buckling stability of steel structures, fatigue and fracture mechanics analysis, cable vibration analysis, development of energy absorption devices, and design of corrugated steel plate structures.
In addition, the laboratory carries out studies on three-dimensional finite element analysis of long-span bridges, train–track–bridge interaction analysis for high-speed railway bridges, and evaluation of running safety. Furthermore, the research scope is expanding to advanced future civil infrastructure, including the development of dynamic analysis programs for submerged floating tunnels and floating offshore wind turbines.
Based on extensive analytical research and experimental validation, the laboratory contributes to the advancement of construction technology through academic publications, patent registrations, and technology transfer.
