Resource Exchange International (REI) is an international not-for-profit educational organization that has been working in Vietnam since 1992 to "build people to build a nation." REI-Vietnam is a Project Office of REI, Inc. with the mission of encouraging, equipping, and empowering Vietnamese who will strengthen the strategic sectors of Vietnam.
We partner with Vietnamese leaders and agencies to determine Vietnamese priorities and then seek to meet these needs through sustainable, field-driven efforts. Our passion is to develop people of influence by equipping the professional with expertise and personal vision to use his/her capacities in a manner that multiplies benefits to others. To achieve this we have sent over 350 gifted, qualified, caring professionals, including nearly 30 who have lived in Hanoi, to Vietnam to train in such diverse areas as English education, medicine, veterinary sciences, agronomy, social work and business education, and have brought over 80 Vietnamese professionals to the USA for professional and personal development.
Established in 2002, Faculty of Management and Tourism (FMT) has now become one of the largest academic departments at Hanoi University with more than 1600 students in 6 undergraduate business programs (Business Administration, Tourism Management, Tourism Management Advanced Program, Marketing, Finance and Banking, and Accounting) and 1 graduate program (Master of Business Administration) delivered entirely in English.
Our programs are developed to meet international standards in curriculum design and teaching materials, bringing together the proven learner-centered approach in training and a strong understanding of the industry. Our students are equipped with the core competencies and foreign language proficiency to meet the most stringent requirements from the local and international job markets.
