All prospective employees of the Hanover Public School District must submit state-required clearances prior to employment.
Existing Clearances: May be uploaded with your application if they were obtained within the last 12 months.
Act 168 Forms: Must be completed with your current employer’s information, as well as any former employers where you had direct contact with children. The Human Resources Department will send the forms to your current/previous employers for completion.

How to Apply: Select "Submit a New Record Check" on the website.
Reason for Request: Select "Employment."
Fee: $22.00 (payable via credit card).
Important Note: To get the official document, click "Certification Form" to print the certificate featuring the large seal.
Submission: Forward the official certificate to the Human Resources Department at the District Office.
Provider: IdentoGO.
Service Code: Enter 1KG6XN to begin.
Registration: * Select "Schedule or Manage Appointment."
Create a security question/answer (needed to view your unofficial report later).
Note: The district does not provide an "Authorization Code" for payment.
Identity Verification: You must bring an approved ID (Driver’s License, Passport, etc.) to your appointment.
Locations: The closest site is LIU 12 (65 Billerbeck Street, New Oxford, PA), though you may choose any convenient center.
Fee: $26.20 (paid at the enrollment center).
Final Step: Provide the district with your "UEID" registration number or a copy of your registration page once fingerprinted.
How to Apply: * New Users: Select "Create Individual Account" to create a KeystoneID.
Existing Users: Select "Individual Login" and "Access My Clearances."
Application Purpose: Select "School Employees Governed by Public School Code."
Required Info: You will need your address history and a list of everyone you have lived with since 1975.
Fee: $13.00 (payable via credit card).
Timeline: May take up to 10 business days. You will receive an email notification when it is ready to print.
Purpose: Ensures employees have not been convicted of prohibitive offenses under Section 111(e).
Ongoing Requirement: You must complete and return this form to a school administrator within 72 hours of any arrest or conviction.

ID BADGE
Building Access: You will need to scan your badge at the main entrance of the building and all interior secure doors.
Printing and Copies: Your Badge is synced to HPSD printers. Tap your badge on the card reader at any machine to release your print jobs or make copies.
If you lose your badge: Please notify Linda Shultz in HR immediately. We will need to deactivate the card right away to ensure the building is secure. If it does not turn up, a replacement badge can be issued for a $5 fee.

Click the link below to complete your online training courses that have been assigned to you. You can also browse courses covering a wide range of topics. All new staff will be required to complete state and district mandated training courses within their first month of employment. These courses will be required and assigned on an individual basis by the Human Resources department. Additional trainings may be presented throughout the year to keep staff current with legislation changes and educational developments. In most cases, your Vector Solutions username will be the same as your HPSD username. It will be the first initial of your first name followed by your last name. All district support staff who work as a Teaching Assistant or Personal Assistant for the current school year are required to complete 20 hours of training to meet the annual highly qualified requirement. This training will be provided during compensated time throughout the school year during in-service and scheduled delay days. See below for training schedules, procedures and course options.
