We recognize and respect that you have a choice in deciding your child’s education! We would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the amazing programs available at the Hanover Public School District.
Students enjoy a low student-to-teacher ratio and receive free instrumental (band and orchestra) lessons. We provide full-day kindergarten and free transportation with short and efficient routes. Students in grades K through 12 receive their own Chromebook to use at home and school. We provide all students with Spanish instruction all year in grades K through 8, and in grades 9 through 12, they may choose to pursue the world language instruction in French and Spanish. Whatever your child needs, we have a program for that! Click here to find out more.
At our school district, each building offers the latest technology such as interactive whiteboards, laser engravers, Chromebooks, vinyl cutters, and 3D printers. We take pride in our integrative learning centers as they have state-of-the-art audio-visual recording studios, virtual reality, and robotic kits. We offer students access to diverse educational software and web applications. We have expanded our gifted educational programming, and now have additional options for our learning support students.
All students, grades 7 through 12, have an individualized plan for career and college planning. High school students can choose courses in the STEAM Academy and choose from 18 Advanced Placement classes. Students who choose to enter the workforce after graduation can enroll in our certificated programs that could enable them to start working immediately after graduation. These programs include welding, machining, music technology, mechatronics, and culinary. Click here to find out more.
