Can't wait to see you all at the track meet on Monday! Your students brought home a paper with times of events and Coach Britton has sent an email home about details for the afternoon. The bus will be leaving school at 1:30, but transportation will not be provided back to Hanford after the track meet. If your child is not participating in the track meet, they may be picked up at 1:30!
Starting the Week of May 4, Language Arts and Math MAPS testing will begin.

L is for Letters: We will write letters to future 5th graders to encourage them!
M is for Movie: We will watch a movie this afternoon! You are welcome to bring a SMALL pillow and a snack!
N is for Neon: Wear your bright colors today as our room will be decked out in Black lights!
O is for Origami: We will attempt some origami today!
P is for Picnic: We will enjoy a picnic style lunch time today!

This week Friday is our Spring Festival! It begin at 4:30 PM. You have heard lots about how you can support this event! Be sure to find all those details in the school newsletter! Please be sure to sign up to volunteer to help make this event run smoothly. HCS also asks that your family helps by donating an item to the school's silent auction, or by contacting Mother's Club representatives and giving a donation which can be used to purchase a silent auction item.

Please talk with your students about their State Presentations this week! These are just the in class presentations where they will practice presenting their boards to their homeroom class! We are all scheduled to begin Presentations on Wednesday, with our last two "in class work days" on Monday and Tuesday!
