We had a busy first full week in Fifth Grade! I am proud of how the students are adjusting to getting back into a routine and working hard to complete tasks assigned to them! If any of you are interested in volunteering on our campus in any capacity please make sure you contact the office to get your Volunteer Training form. We love your help and willingness to work alongside us to keep our students safe!
Destiny Santiago, a fifth grade parent, will be contacting you soon about 5th grade Icecream sales on Fridays. Please look out for information from her on how you can help!
An explanation of the dress code is found on P. 9 in the Parent/Student Handbook. Before your child leaves for school, please check that their shorts (6' inseam for 3rd and up) or skirt (for girls) are not too short, their shirts have sleeves and are not too short to show the midriff if their hand is raised, and that they have close toed shoes on. Leggings/bike shorts are only permitted for K-4th grade if the shirt is long enough to cover the bottom. Thanks for your help!
In order to have drop off and pick up run more smoothly, please be sure that in the drive through line you are pulling up to the sidewalk, and allowing your students to exit towards the gym or enter your car safely. Please do not get out to buckle children. Please park in event parking and walk your student all the way into our campus past the car line to ensure they are able to make it safely to their classrooms.
On August 26th, we will be having an All-school chapel! Parents are welcome to attend. Chapel begins at 9 AM; doors open at 8:50.
August 28th (Friday) will be the first pizza lunch of the 26/27 school year! Please speak with your 5th grader about what they are able to order, and have them be ready to order in class on Wednesday, August 26th.
