Welcome to first grade! My name is Leah Schroeder. This is my sixth year at Hancock Elementary and I am very excited to be back teaching here! I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Morris in 2016. I was lucky enough to do my student teaching in New Zealand where I was able to learn and enjoy a new culture and do LOTS of sight seeing!
In my free time I like reading, running, hiking and camping. I also love spending time with my family near Mille Lacs Lake where I grew up! I enjoy watching and playing sports! I am the head volleyball coach in Morris and love to play in my spare time! This past summer, my husband, Cory and I enjoyed lots of camping and state park days, where we did a lot of sight seeing and hiking! We also spent a lot of time with our dog, Quinn, on walks and playing fetch!
I am excited to have your child in my class this year! I know we will have fun and learn lots!
