The Summer Youth Employment Program is a paid career readiness program that runs from July to August for a total of 6 weeks. SYEP is open to youth ages 14 - 24 living in NYC.

Younger Youth (ages 14 - 15 on 7/1/26) participate in Project-Based Learning and can earn up to a $700 stipend.
Older Youth (ages 16 - 24 on 7/1/26) work at an internship and can earn up to 25 hours of minimum wage for 6 weeks.

HANAC is one of many CareerREADY providers for SYEP. If you are not a student at one of our partnered schools, please ask your school if they have CareerREADY SYEP provider or choose HANAC as your provider of choice for Community-Based SYEP
