Eaton Fundamental Middle School
The EFMS Choral Department includes a 6th Grade Fundamental Music Class as well as 7th & 8th Grade Chorus. They have quickly established a tradition of musical excellence with numerous choral awards earned over the last several years. Members of the choral department are well-rounded and participate in many other activities.
Along with participating in musical activities, the Eaton Chorus enjoys many social events such as competitions, masterclasses, and trips to Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens!

Sept. 29th, 8:30-11:00am - Kecoughtan 5K Race for Music (Not mandatory. Extra Credit for Attendance)
Oct. 27th 9:30am-1:30pm - District Chorus Auditions (Participation is not Mandatory, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
Dec. 12th, 4-5pm - After School Rehearsal in Chorus Room (Mandatory)
Dec. 14th, 4-5pm - After School Rehearsal in Chorus Room (Mandatory)
Dec. 18th, 6:30pm - Winter Concert (Mandatory. Students report at 5pm to the Chorus Room)
Feb. 8th, 10am-5pm - District Chorus Rehearsal @ Hampton HS (only for students who get into District Chorus)
Feb. 9th, 10am-4pm - District Chorus Rehearsal and Concert @ Hampton HS (only for students who get into District Chorus. Concert at 3pm)
Feb. 21st, 5:30-8pm - HCS Honors Choir Rehearsal at Bethel HS (only for students chosen to participate)
Feb. 22nd, 10am-8pm - HCS Honors Choir Rehearsal and Concert at Bethel HS (only for students chosen to participate, Concert at 7pm)
April 12th, 9:30am-12:30pm - District Chorus students rehearse with Elementary (Not Mandatory.)
April 25th, 4:30-8pm - HCS Solo & Ensemble Festival at Jones MS (Not Mandatory. Extra Credit for Participation)
May 11th, All Day - Kings Dominion Trip (NOT Mandatory - Performance in the Park)
May 15th, 4-5pm - After School Rehearsal in Chorus Room (Mandatory)
May 17th, 4-5pm - After School Rehearsal in Chorus Room (Mandatory)
May 21st, 6:30pm - Spring Concert (Mandatory. Students report at 5:30pm to the Chorus Room)
