You explore new ways to problem-solve and express your creativity through more complex projects that involve proportion, composition, and layering techniques to create innovative art. You use advanced media and techniques like acrylic paints, charcoal, digital tools, and sculpture materials. This class prepares you for higher-level art courses in high school while deepening your understanding of art as a form of communication. You will also have the opportunity to participate in local and regional art shows and contests.

707601 - Intro to Digital Media and Entertainment Arts (This non-high school credit course is offered at Kilgore Gifted Center as a pre-requisite for 918200.) 

FA INTRO DIG MED & ENT ART

In Intro to Digital Media and Entertainment Arts (DMEA), you will learn the difference between traditional art and digital art, explore basic image editing, and create GIFS. This class is perfect for anyone who is interested in incorporating technology into their traditional art skills.
