Take music, mouthpiece, neck strap, reeds (bring a back up) valve oil, sticks

Percussion equipment must be unloaded and set up.  Leave cases in the van. / Students and parents will need to help carry items.

10:50 a.m.  Warm-up

11:20 a.m. – Official performance time. PLEASE encourage parents, friends, neighbors, family, etc. to attend.  The students need support.  It is very difficult to play in an empty auditorium with only judges.  If you plan on coming to support the group, please arrive by 11 a.m.  The doors of the auditorium have to remain shut once the performance begins.

Students will then go to another room to sight read and then meet parents outside to pack up.

12 p.m. -pack up equipment, load van and buses

Mrs. Farrell will have to wait for judges papers and recordings.  Students remain on the bus.  Stop for lunch and walk back to Eaton  (bring money and comfy shoes).  Parent drivers needed for instrument cases.

Attire:  Black DRESS shirt and pants, DRESS shoes (no tennis shoes or jeans  allowed) and black long socks/ stockings.  ALL BLACK.  No other colors on clothing or shoes.

* Please check attire over the weekend, pants/ shoes fit, shirts clean and pressed*

Please bring a bag lunch or money for Chick fil A.  I suggest bringing comfortable shoes on the bus to change into before lunch. We will be walking back to Eaton.  If you plan to pick up your child from Chick fil A or Eaton after assessment, please make sure to notify the main office to dismiss them early.

Parents are asked to attend the performance.  Support for our students and our program is extremely important.  The actual concert on stage lasts about 15 minutes.

The students have worked so hard in preparing a great performance this year and I truly appreciate your support and assistance throughout Assessment season!  I hope to see as many faces as possible at Warhill H.S. on Thursday, March 19th!!

Fri:  No school for students
