Think about how to represent your work in community engagement. Do you have flyers for events? Photos of you working in the field (make sure you have permissions if photos include others)? Writing you have done that integrates your community work and theoretical work? Other?
Below are some prompts to help you think about what you might write about and share on the page to help your audience.
In your reflections, consider:
What activities/tasks did you perform
What community-defined need(s) did your work address?
What challenges did you face and how did you address them?
What knowledge have you gained from your work, and how has this experience furthered your learning in general or in relation to the central themes of your Division II Concentration?
How did this learning mesh with, expand or contradict what you have encountered through your courses and reading? What new questions were raised or interests sparked?
You might have language on your page such as:
I have been fortunate to have multiple experiences doing authentic work related to my Div II. In my first year as a Div II, I..... I was able to..... These experiences have brought new questions that affected my choice of courses in my second year.Â
