Radio/TV Production II prepares students for admission to television production programs at the post secondary level. Students will train on industry standard equipment. During the second year program, students' work will become more client-based by using their first year production skills to complete projects for outside clients.

Course Assessment Activities Students will create the following projects in the television studio demonstrating proper lighting, audio and shots. Projects should be finished with minimal editing. Programs will need to be aired course YouTube Channel Interview Each student will create a 5 minute interview with a teacher or student in the school. Interviews will need to be set up in the studio using studio equipment on a topic of choice. Panel Discussion Each student will complete, using the Studio Equipment, a panel discussion including 3 or more persons from outside the classroom. Panel discussion will be 10 minute in length. Music Video Students will create a music video for your favorite song, must be school appropriate.News PackageEach student will create a 5 minute newspackage You will be tasked with creating an idea, storyboarding, writing, shooting, and producing your final project. Magazine Students will create a 30 minute magazine format to include a host and guests. Each student will be responsible for a portion of the magazine show.

Students will also provide any release and/or copyright information.TV Commercial Each student will complete, using the Field Production Equipment, commercial for a local business. You are to create, storyboard, shoot, and edit a 30-sec. Music Video Each student will create a music video for your favorite song, must be school appropriate.News PackageEach student will create a 5 minute newspackage You will be tasked with creating an idea, storyboarding, writing, shooting, and producing your final project. DocumentaryThis final project has you taking all that you have learned and creating a 30 minute Documentary. Your group will be tasked with creating an idea, storyboarding, writing, shooting, and producing your final project.
